10 years after: Jonathan mourns ‘selfless, modest’ Yar’Adua
Ten years after the demise of ex President Umar Musa Yar’Adua, his successor and replacement, President Goodluck Jonathan, has depicted him as a “president like no other who lived and passed on for Nigeria.” Jonathan, who posted the touching tribute on his Facebook page, said previous Yar’Adua remained on the individuals, including that he drudged day and night to make Nigerians live better.
He expressed; “It has been 10 years since His Excellency President Umar Musa Yar’Adua was grabbed by the cold hands of death. Rule of Law: In commendation of Late Umaru Yar’Adua Atiku: Yar’adua’s organization best in official administrative compatibility “On this day, consistently, his picture fills our awareness as a characteristic of his benevolence, regular humility and outstanding style.
“He was a President like no other who lived and passed on for his nation. “He supported the citizens, worked day and night to improve their lives. “President Yar’Adua assembled solid extensions of expectation, love and comprehension for which he turned into a power for national solidarity and positive change over our favoured land. “From multiple points of view, he stuck out.
” Jonathan included that Yar’Adua “had an obliging soul and colossal altruism that discharged a web around our national separation points to fortify the bond; subsequently leaving for his replacements the undertaking of strengthening the band.”
“President Yar’Adua no doubt left lasting legacies in his wholehearted commitment to the ideals of democracy, respect for peoples’ rights, freedoms and reason for living as well as a responsibility to the rule of law and laws of equity and justice. “I will proceed to remember President Yar’Adua as a colleague and boss who became my brother and friend,” he included.
