The Lagos State Government has said it will before long start the instalment of financial remuneration to the closest relative of the individuals who lost their lives in the blast that shook the Shoba people group in the Abule-Ado zone of the state on Sunday, March 15, 2020.

PUNCH Metro had detailed that the blast slaughtered 23 people, including the Administrator and a few labourers of the Bethlehem Girls College, and furthermore devastated more than 60 structures.

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation had said the blast was brought about by a truck, which hit a heap of gas chambers, yet a few occupants of the network blamed the case, claiming that the blast was brought about by a bomb.

The fire, which followed the blast, desolated the network and consumed numerous structures.

More than 586 occupants were rendered destitute because of the disaster.

Representative Babajide Sanwo-Olu had set up a N2bn help support for the survivors of the blast.

The Director-General of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, in an announcement on Sunday, said the state government had vowed to help the casualties of the blast, including that more than 100 uprooted people were as of now obliged at the office’s alleviation camp.
